“The Science and Art of Fisheries and Aquaculture: Life Above and Below Waters”
The competition is open for both local and international graduate and undergraduate students. Interested students who want to join the competition should submit an abstract. Please refer to Abstract Submission Guidelines for details and eligibility.
The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Program Committee. The corresponding/presenting authors will be notified on 15 September 2021 if their entries are qualified or not.
Accepted entries for the competition will be required to submit a one-page digital poster on or before 05 November 2021. The poster will be made available for viewing during the duration of the joint conference.
Consent from all collaborators is necessary prior to submission of entries for the competition.
Submission of your entries for Student Poster Presentation Competition grant permission to the organizers of the Joint International Conference of the Sixth International Conference for Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (ICFAS6) & Asian Fisheries Social Science Research Network Forum One (AFSSRNF1) to use your digital posterin media publications including Facebook, YouTube, email blasts, general publications and scholarly websites and pages.
The submitted digital poster will be assessed by a panel of three judges on 06-10 November 2021. The top 10 entries will qualify for a Q&A session via Zoom which is scheduled on 15 November 2021.
The judging criteria are as follows:
Scholarly content 35%
Quality of poster appearance and presentation 35%
Overall impression and significance of research 15%
Q&A Session (Ability to answer questions) 15%
Winners will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on 26 November 2021.
Two Winners for each category:
